Applications for the Danish Music Academy 2024 will open in September 2023, and close 1st December 2023, midnight Central European Time. Invitations will be sent to participants in January 2024, as well as composition assignments for the composer participants. Composer participants are expected to complete these assignments (both scores and parts) by May 2024.
In Februrary 2024, music will be sent to the performer participants to prepare before the start of the festival.
As well as these works, participants and staff will work together to create pieces during the festival.
